YLT will ensure we advocate for the federal and state government to give more priority to childhood cancer and to create a national cancer plan by ensuring we achieve the following:
- National Awareness Program with Children Cancer Awareness Measure for all Healthcare Providers
- National Cancer Registry with National Annual Audit
- National Treatment Centres for Cancer Children
- Support Funding – Facilitate insurance schemes, and fund essential medicines and supportive services including chemotherapy supplies, nutritional supplements, surgeries, etc.
- Support Clinical Leadership
- Develop sustainable programs for cancer children with Quality Performance Framework (QPF) Toolkit
- Redesign Care Pathway – especially for pediatric oncology patients
