Education in schools is very important as most children spend <30% of their time daily in the school. It is therefore paramount that a robust educational initiative is put into school to educate both children and staff on vital signs to watch out for. Over 28% of people know a survivor or someone suffering from or have lost someone from cancer. It is therefore important to educate and support the children on the disease right now!
We run an informative program that helps educate both teachers and students. We have age-appropriate lessons from primary 1 children to secondary school students about cancer which would inspire and empower them. We therefore need schools to provide this helpful information which includes clear learning objectives, engaging videos, extension activities, and ways students can get involved in the fight against cancer.
